HISTORY: Crayons to Canvas Art Supply Drive started in 2008 by Sacramento Artist, Raphael Delgado and Publicist, Veronica Delgado. The brother and sister team created Crayons to Canvas Art Supply Drive to provide art materials as gifts for the youths served by Stanford Home for Children. The small art supply drive quickly blossomed into an art therapy department at Stanford Home for Children, and was financially sponsored by AT&T. In June 2010 Stanford Home cut the ribbon to a new art therapy room. For seven years, the Crayons to Canvas Art Supply Drive has collected art material to benefit organizations that serve an at-risk and underserved population. As advocates for art therapy, our mission is to help underserved children find therapeutic outlets through artistic expression.
