This Social Butterfly Thrives At Adult Day Program

Anne C. has attended Transitions for Tomorrow for three years and has continually thrived. Over the first year, Anne was quiet, reserved and adapting to new surroundings. Within the last two years, Anne has made noticeable improvements with verbalizing, independently initiating and socializing with staff and peers.

Staff have reported that Anne loves beading, dancing and listening to Michael Jackson. Anne also enjoys working on arts and crafts. Anne does a fantastic job independently mimicking art projects after watching staff create various projects. Anne has many friends here at T2 that she greets warmly each day. Anne is outspoken and enjoys telling the staff and peers what day of the week it is, what she’s going to do for the evening and weekend. It’s clearly known that Anne and her mother Luanne attend and shop at local farmers markets just about every weekend.

Anne’s mother Luanne has informed the staff that Anne has thrived beyond her expectations at T2. Anne looks forward to coming to program each day to interact with her friends and staff as well as participate in community outings. Anne is comfortable at program and I believe she knows we are here to help, encourage self advocacy and provide support in which will enhance her to continually succeed.
