The museum store offers the unique opportunity to purchase a California flag to be flown over the California State Capitol. The 3 X 5 foot California Bear Flag is made of 200 denier Oxford polyester and is as water repellant as nylon, but is stronger and more fade resistant. The 2 X 3 foot California Bear Flag and the 3 X 5 foot Rainbow California flag are 100 denier polyester, water-resistant, fade resistant, and suitable for all-weather use. Double-stitched around all edges with 4 rows of stitching on fly edge.

Flags are flown daily year-round, weather permitting, excluding weekends and Capitol museum holidays. Allow five business days to process your request, which includes a commemorative certificate.

You may include a personal message on the certificate to honor a special occasion or event. Please specify the future date you want the flag flown and personalized message in the “order notes” field.
