Short Center Arts

Short Center Arts (SCA) participants are able to choose from several avenues of artistic expression in the visual and performing arts as well as community and lifestyle activities.

SCA is firmly based in the arts, but offers options in education and recreation that promote personal growth and daily life skills. Studio artists participate in professional gallery exhibitions, create watercolor paintings, acrylic paintings, sculptures, traditional ceramics, collages, and various crafts and earn commissions on the sale of artwork. Additionally, the program offers photography, videography, film editing and animation. At Short Center Arts, we strive to inspire creativity, expand the possibilities of participants’ artistic journeys, and foster growth through community inclusion in a fun and stimulating environment.
