Description
Author talk and book signing on January 27, 2026, 12-1 pm at Capitol Books and Gifts, on the lower level in the California State Capitol Museum. Join us in the museum store for a presentation by California author Eddie Ahn of “Advocate,” a graphic memoir of family, community and the fight for environmental justice. Mr. Ahn has been an environmental justice attorney and nonprofit worker for 15 years. He is a self-taught artist who has been recognized as a cartoonist-in-residence by the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa California.
Event will feature a presentation by the author, discussion, and book signing. Registration fee includes a copy of “Advocate,” tote bag, and limited edition illustrated print by Mr. Ahn.
Seating is limited to 20. Check-in for the event is 11:30 am at the museum store. Please present your emailed order confirmation at check-in. No cancellations or refunds. In the case of an emergency, if you are unable to attend, please notify the store by calling (916)324-0313 so your items can be shipped to you.
