  • Achievement Development & Care

    Achievement Development & Care (ADC) provides services to adults in Sacramento with severe and profound developmental disabilities. They provide a patient, supportive, and caring atmosphere in which students can develop personal and meaningful skills which enhance the quality of their lives.

  • Alan Short Center

    Alan Short Center located in Stockton, CA was the first program of its kind in the nation to utilize visual and performing arts as tools to help adults with developmental disabilities develop and maintain self-esteem, social interaction, language, personal independence, and other functional skills.

  • Employment Plus

    Employment Plus (E+) provides opportunities for participants to make their own choices and decisions regarding their everyday life, allowing them to participate in and contribute to community through coursework, paid on the job training, community association, volunteer activities, and ultimately employment.

  • Short Center North

    Short Center North (SCN) was developed in 1978 as an arts-based program for adults with developmental disabilities. SCN offers several opportunities to develop life skills, form meaningful friendships, become more involved with the community and share culture.

  • Short Center South

    Short Center South (SCS) offers students several avenues of artistic expression in the visual and performing arts, as well as community and lifestyle classes. Studio art students participate in gallery shows and create watercolor paintings, tile and mosaic murals, sculptures, traditional ceramics, collages, woodwork and textiles.
